Dr. Tara Roman received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, and Acupuncture degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University. She also has hundreds of continuing education hours studying nutrition and the human body.
Dr. Roman is passionate about helping people achieve optimal health through chiropractic, Applied Kinesiology, nutrition, and acupuncture. She has experience helping patients with spine pain, headaches, and joint pain, as well as injury rehabilitation.
Dr. Roman also enjoys educating patients who suffer from gut imbalances and food sensitivities, especially gluten intolerance. She is very familiar with food elimination diets combined with medical food products to help patients not only take away the foods contributing to their gut inflammation, but to also help the gut heal with specifically targeted nutritional protocols. Dr. Tara utilizes Applied Kinesiology, blood work, urine hormone testing and GI testing as needed to find the causes of dysfunction in the body and create a unique protocol for each individual.
Dr. Roman lives in Elko, MN with her husband and two sons. She enjoys playing board games, puzzles, going for walks, reading and volunteering at her church.
