DR. TAMMY NYHUS

Dr. Tammy Nyhus received her Doctorate of Chiropractic, Bachelor of Science and Acupuncture degrees from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 1999.  Following graduation she completed a three year post doctorate Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics (DICCP) from Palmer College of Chiropractic via the International Chiropractic Association in 2003. Dr. Nyhus has also received training in Applied Kinesiology (AK), Craniosacral Therapy (CST) from the Upledger Institute, Activator Method, Functional Medicine and concussion recovery.  Dr. Nyhus earned a Nutrition Certificate in 2016 from Northwestern Health Sciences University.

Dr. Nyhus uses her various techniques to cater every visit to each individual patient.  Correcting spinal misalignments, fascial torsions, cranial restrictions, food sensitivities and nutritional deficiencies and acupuncture meridian disruptions as needed allows her to treat the patient as a whole and on multiple levels.

Dr. Nyhus enjoys filling her office with families and helping with common childhood conditions such as ear infections, gastrointestinal issues such as reflux and constipation, bedwetting, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, sports injuries and concussions.

Dr. Nyhus lives in Savage with her husband and three kids.  In her free time she enjoys working out at the YMCA, volunteering at school and coaching/cheering at her kids various sporting events.
